Why visiting Saatchi Gallery in London? Saatchi Gallery is one of the most progressive galleries, exhibiting contemporary artists and not being scared of showing different kinds of art forms and expressions. They know how to play with the newcomers and I get always a pleasant surprise there.
I was there to see the #SelfExpression exhibition and loved the section of old masters projections on the smartphones and screens.
Following the enormous success of the #SaatchiSelfie Competition which received over 14,000 entries from 113 different countries, and the commissioning of ten exciting young British photographers to create new works using Huawei smartphones, co-engineered with Leica, Saatchi Gallery and Huawei are joining forces again with an exciting new opportunity.
The #SelfExpression Competition invites artists, photographers, creative individuals and anyone with a smartphone to turn their gaze away from the self to document the world and those around them, with the chance to win a solo exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery.
So why not going for it. Taking selfies with a purpose. I took one – on the spot – in Saatchi.
Hello! My name is Emilie Janda. I love art and interiors and I work with people all over the world who are in search of adding meaningful personal touch, inspiration, and beauty to their homes and lives.
I live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The French Riviera. Cote d'Azur where the sea is turquoise and where I find a never-ending inspiration from the picturesque medieval villages, from the laid back lifestyle on the coast and from staying grounded in the middle of the luxury temptations.
